The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) is pleased to announce its e-Learning Course on "International Players in Public Finance and Debt Management" which will be conducted from October 20 to November 21, 2008. UNITAR offers this course as a FREE course with limited slots. Priority will be given to finance-sector officials from government institutions from developing countries.
The course aims at developing awareness and understanding of organizations which operate internationally as well as regionally in dealing with finance and debt management issues through short case studies, group discussions, expert input and peer-to-peer contacts. Using an approach grounded in institutional analysis and political economy, the course gives participants a thorough understanding of the institutional structure, purpose and functions of these different institutions together with their achievements and latest initiatives.
